seaports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven. They operate both as direct trains, shuttle trains and via our central hub in Maschen.

Maschen is the largest classification yard in Europe with a key function as a central hub for seaport hinterland connections to the northern ports. Maschen as a hub is what makes our flexible and high-frequency connections, fast response times, and flexible use of resources to volatile volume flows possible in the first place.
