Over 50 years of amazing combined traffic

Since 1969, TFG Transfracht has transported containers for ship owners and freight forwarders from German seaports direct to final consignees in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and from first shippers to German seaports.

TFG Transfracht connects four countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and six seaports (Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, Koper, Rotterdam, Antwerp) with the AlbatrosExpress rail network. With more than 15.000 connections a year and more than 27 terminals, the AlbatrosExpress network is the most extensive rail network in European seaport-hinterland transport.

TFG Transfracht sets high quality standards when transporting containers. These product and service standards can only be met with a staff of committed employees, a reliable system of quality management and competent partners.

As a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG, TFG Transfracht has had years of practice and plenty of expertise to enable it to meet the stringent requirements of combined traffic. With a turnover of around 226 million euros, a transport volume of around 921,000 TEUs and a staff of 200 dedicated employees, TFG Transfracht is now the market leader for seaport hinterland traffic with the German seaports.
